We are pleased to announce the second workshop on Large-Scale Deep Learning for the Earth System.
It will take place on 29th and 30th August 2024 in the Universitätsclub Bonn, Germany.

 

The workshop will again bring together the leading groups that develop large-scale neural networks for weather and climate.

Topics include:

  • Machine learning-based numerical weather prediction

  • Climate emulators

  • AI-based Earth system component models

  • Machine learning from observations

  • Foundation models

  • Model evaluation

Registration and abstract submission will open in May 2024.
