CESOC and EXPATS research group organizes the “Machine Learning and Atmospheric Observation Day” at Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ) on 21 June 2024 from 10am to 5pm for pre-registered Master and PhD students
The program aims to give the participants a broad overview on Machine Learning in Atmospheric Sciences. It includes a visit to the High-Performance-Computing facilities at the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) and also an overview on atmospheric observations as well as a look at the instrumentation on the JOYCE platform located at the Institute for Energy and Climate Research – Troposphere (IEK-8).
